Students of Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (Switzerland) acquired the module Real Estate Intensive in Riga 2021 at the RTU master study programme Civil Construction and Real Estate Management

From 18 October to 20 October 2021, Professor Dr. Michael Trübestein (MRICS, MScRE-Program Director) and 25 students from Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts visited the master study programme “Civil Construction and Real Estate Management” implemented by the Institute of Civil Engineering and Real Estate Economics (ICEREE). In Riga, the students mastered the module “Real Estate Intensive in Riga 2021”, being part of the study course “International Real Estate Development”. The theoretical part of the content of the study module “Real Estate Intensive in Riga 2021”, which is related to real estate market development, real estate management, business mediation, valuation and renewal, as well as regional management and planning, housing policy, was implemented by RTU ICEREE lecturers, doctoral students and graduates. The professional issues of the industry were considered by the Alliance of Real Estate Developers (Chair of the Board Mārtiņš Vanags), Ltd. Starlex Real Estate (Auseklis Sarkans), Ltd. Ober Haus Vērtēšanas Serviss (Artūrs Lezdiņš MRICS, IRRV (Hons), REV), Valuation Department of the State Land Service (expert Anete Māra Harkeviča), Association of Estonian Real Estate Firms (Ardi Roosimaa), etc.

The Latvian Real Estate Association implemented the practical part of the study module “Real Estate Intensive in Riga 2021”, introducing the students of Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts to the real estate projects implemented in Latvia.

Upon successful completion of the study module “Real Estate Intensive in Riga 2021”, students of Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts were solemnly awarded the certificates at the House of the Blackheads in Riga.
