The main goals of the Institute:

To ensure the implementation of ICEREE study programmes, as well as ensure high-quality study process at other RTU programmes;

To carry out scientific and research activities in the following areas: sustainable development issues in construction economics, urban environment, real estate economics, as well as engineering economics and management; scientific and technological innovation transfer in the business environment; national socio-economic development issues; human capital and its role in today’s economy at the national and regional levels; Latvian polycentric development problems; urban economics etc.
