The Institute of Civil Engineering and Real Estate Economics (ICEREE) of the Faculty of Engineering Economics and Management at Riga Technical University and the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development of the Republic of Latvia organise the International Scientific Conference “Maritime and Coastal Planning – From Planning to Results” within the Coast4us Project of INTERREG Central Baltic Sea Region Programme 2014–2020.
The Conference aims at introducing territorial development planners and other stakeholders involved in the planning process to current challenges of coastal and marine development and demonstrating good practices for addressing challenges and resource efficient use, with a particular focus on community involvement in territorial development planning and implementation.
At the Conference, representatives of national and local institutions as well as scientific institutions and companies from Latvia, Sweden, Estonia and Finland will share and discuss their territorial development planning experience (sea, coastal, urban, rural and village) from the perspective of policy planning, practical activities and results, including digital solutions.
